I agree with you that things need to change and it might be better in the long run if they do, however:
- I wonder if the change that is needed is at a personal, spriritual level and in fact has to be so in order for things to change at a corporate level (note: I am a Christian);
- I have a hunch that the Machine may pull off the energy problem after all - solar, wind, hydrogen etc. There may be energy shortages but energy may not, in itself, be the breaking point you think it will be
